Approval of «TheBarCode» Project supported by the European Commission 7th Framework Program

NUMECA International participates in a consortium of 12 partners from 8 different countries that were awarded to implement “TheBarCode” project from Directorate General for Research of the European Commission.
TheBarCode will advance the efficiency of power generation in gas turbine processes by the development of advanced parts of significantly improved performance and software providing optimized process parameters.
The project is coordinated by the Technological Educational Institute of Chalkida from Greece and Participants are the Boreskov Institute of Catalysis and OJSC “Aviadvigatel” from Russia, Clausthal University of Technology from Germany, Powder Metallurgy Institute from Belarus, Institute for Physical Research from Armenia, Plasma Jet s.r.l. and the National Institute for Aerospace Research “Elie Carafoli” from Romania, MERL Ltd and Open Source Management Ltd from United Kingdom, MIRTEC SA from Greece and NUMECA International S.A from Belgium
The project started in the 1st of January 2013 with a budget of 2.921.550 Ευro and will conclude in December 2015.
